I am a new user and I wanted to start a server. I downloaded and ran Pilot Assistant & FSOpen server. I also have installed WinPCap 4.1.3. Finally I have made sure that the ports have port fowarded correctly. With all that, I can't connect to the server, nor my friend who is my tester. Can anyone please help me? Now this sounds obvious, but I want to make sure that you are actually running FSX and you selected host a session. You are the host of the session, FSOpen is just supplying the software. If you have another PC you can login with a player name, and if the session is on your network, it will appear on the LAN sessions list. Your friend will need your external IP address however,NAND if you forwarded the ports, then it will forward people to your internal IP address. Cheers! |
