John White 8th Dec 2012 13:27:13 | With the purchase of a more powerful PC, I decided to give fSX another go after years of FS idleness. Got it all rigged up = goflight modules, two monitors, two pcs = and decided to try multiplayer, if you can believe it, the night they shut down Gamespy. Im trying FSOpen, and can get logged on to server. My question is, how do I get correct Teamspeak server for that session in order to talk to others? Also, can I access it from my second PC while running flight sim on PC1? |
Dave Wave ![]() 8th Dec 2012 13:52:47 | Hi John,
Bad luck on your upgrade, must be frustrating. Most of the sessions will post information in chat. Best to join a server out of the way somewhere then press enter to show the chat window. |

This is a separate stand alone program... you can run on any machine. After Launching the TS Client.. click on the "Connections" tab on the top and then the "Connect" tab... enter the "Server Address" (IP address).. then your "Nickname" and press "connect". You can also save these different sessions in the "Bookmarks" tab. Most (not all) sessions also have websites and will advise you of the IP address needed for their TeamSpeak. You can also try connecting to the session and check to see if they include the IP address in the FSOPEN "Auto Message" which is posted in the FSX "CHAT BOX". Be patient here... this message will auto post (1-5 mins) based on how the host set up the timing. |
