| How yo connect without gamespy | |
Alex Parker   8th Dec 2012 04:59:07 | ?<23:36:52> "Technotron3": Even though Gamespy is no longer serving flight sim there are still ways to connect to your favorite servers. Now I dont know A lot about FS9, but I know this works for FSX.
1.On the multiplayer screen there are two options, internet(via Gamespy) and Local Network(LAN), select Local Network and choose a player name and sign-in. 2.Next you need to acquire the server IP, If you dont know what server are available, you can go to fsopen.co.uk and find a sever of you choice. 3.Now click connect directly and insert the host's IP(Press host session if you want to host) 4.In the server lobby you will see your name, and if you wanted to you could change it whenever you want, just log back in. Hopefuly this will help awnser your questions. Just because gamespy is down dosent mean multiplayer is broken. |
