I have FSX deluxe. It says I don't need to install sp 1 & 2 Please help |

You DO need SP1 and 2 installed in your FSX, as the server is SP2 run. Install SP1 then SP2 (either with Accelerator or on its own), then you should be able to join the server. Also DON'T join thru gamespy, go Direct Connect via the LAN sign in screen. Tap the IP address in, click the Find Session button, wait for your computer to connect then you should see the select aircraft, location start point and all the other bits and your in the server. Andy is correct, you will need SP1 & 2 to join the FSOpen.co.uk Server, however, it seems like you are already in. If you are Able to get into the briefing room then you must already have SP1 & 2 already installed. If you join via game spy, then you wouldn't be able to even join the session, it would either not appear OR have a pad lock on in. It's not passworded just not compatible with your system. Because you said that you are loading weather, it makes me beleive that you have managed to establish a connection to ye server. What plane are you tried to load in? Trikes, Gliders, Extra's and F18's ( Or Similar) will automatically be kicked. Check that you're not trying to load in as one of these aircraft. If I have read your post wrong, let me know and we will try to work out another solution. Joe |
