| Flight Strips not opening correctly and throwing errors | |
Hizan Smith ![]() 1st Jun 2012 19:41:34 | Hi,
I'm having a little trouble when starting Flight Strips, it's most likely due to me not having something installed which is required to run the program, however I can't lay my finger on what I need installed. The following is the error which is being thrown by the program: http://pastebin.com/b2iftN98 And this is an image of the error message: http://i.imgur.com/N5L0X.png If you could let me know what dependencies Flight Strips relies on to run, that would be great. Thanks in advance. |

So here is a link, try this: ttp://www.microsoft.com/net |

Dave Wave ![]() 2nd Jun 2012 08:36:24 | Steff, I don't use the latest version as it would force most users to make a big download. Install3.5 which contains 2.0 and 3.0 as well. Note 4.0 does not contain previous releases.
However I don't think this is the problem for Hizan. Have you installed sp1 and 2 for fsx? Try installing simconnect http://fsopen.co.uk/sc/2/SimConnect.msi If that still fails, are you using an alternative language to English in windows? |
Hizan Smith ![]() 2nd Jun 2012 13:27:42 | Turns out, as you said, .NET Framework 4.0 doesn't contain previous versions which seemed to be my problem. I've installed 3.5 and it all seems to work now. Thanks for your help. |
