| Sending Contact Requests from Flight Strips to Pilot Assistant | |
Christian Smith ![]() 5th Apr 2012 14:04:31 | Is this possible?
At the moment pilot assistant tells a pilot when they've switched channel.... is there a way that the controller can send a request, and in the similar "bing bong" fashion, a "Contact ***** now on ***.***" Message would appear. Something that I'm sure has been mentioned in the past, but it would be very handy if its possible. Christian |

Maybe a little button on each aircrafts flight strip that says 'Ping'. This will then take the Name of the Station and Frequency that you logged into flight strips with and sends it to the Pilot along the top in a green bar, like the ATIS Available one. |

Love It! |

Dave Wave ![]() 8th Apr 2012 08:24:12 | Yes its possible, obviously the pilot would need to be running pilot assistant.
I'll look at the implications. |
