Am I understanding the process correctly?

Hi gang,
I have a Win7 64bit pc at my office that is sitting dormant in the evenings. Like everyone else Gamespy is troublesome.

So if I am understanding correctly, I need to install FSX first on my work machine then install FSOpen on that same server. Then I can control the server via a web browser or pilot assistant?

Thanks for what you do!

if you have a host PC, install FSX on that on, run a server and use FSopen Server as third party software as an addition to FSX.

FSOpen server hasn't got an API so you can control the server by using remote desktop or teamviewer, whatever works.

Don't forget to forward your ports!
